First Friday Business Network
The Hampton University Business Assistance
Center has developed two major goals for its continuous outreach
program:

To increase the visibility of the
Hampton University Business Assistance Centers’ (HUBAC)
services in the community, through business/social interaction
and participation in community events.

To foster and develop economic
networking within the business community through the stewardship
of the Hampton University Business Assistance Center.
To meet these goals, we have organized
a series of meetings with the Peninsula Area Business community
entitled “FIRST FRIDAY BUSINESS NETWORK”. These meetings
are scheduled for the first Friday of each quarter.
At the First Friday meetings the exchange
of business cards is emphasized and encouraged. The FFBN presents
guest speakers who deliver remarks on subjects of widespread
interest, for example, Government Involvement in financing
for Small Businesses. The First Friday Business Network
provides our members with a diverse business program, ranging
from Federal government programs to business opportunities
and franchising. FFBN currently has an active business-networking
database of 200 to 300 entrepreneurs and professionals.
Admission:
The cost of admission is $9.00 per meeting.
Sponsorship Information
The Hampton University Business Assistance
Center (HUBAC) needs your support in helping to sponsor the
First Friday Business Network. The fee for sponsorship is
one hundred ($100.00) dollars.
Becoming a sponsor will provide your company:

One Free admission to the monthly meetings
every First Friday for one full year.
