The Division of Continuing Studies offers course and degree programs online.

Online learning courses are conducted via the Internet.  Course syllabi and assignments are posted on the Hampton University website.  Class interaction and assessment take place via email, discussion boards, and/or chat rooms. 

Online courses at Hampton University College of Educationand Continuing Sgudies are posted on the Blackboard website:  http://courses.hamptonu.edu/Blackboard is a comprehensive and flexible e-Learning software platform in which faculty and students can access course websites.  Blackboard requires a log in (username) and password. Degree programs are offered online in the following disciplines:

Associate Degree Programs

Certificate Programs

Online (Internet-based) courses are offered in various subjects: Accounting, Biology, Communications, Computers, Economics, English, Finance, Health, History, Human Resources Management, Humanities, Mathematics, Management, Marketing, Music, Paralegal Studies, Philosophy, Physical Science, Political Science, Psychology, and Religion.

Online learning courses are conducted totally online via the Internet. Students and instructor communicate by way of email, voice and written discussion boardand/or telephone. The course syllabus and outline of weekly assignments are posted on the Hampton University Blackboard Website.
