EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING CREDIT - PORTFOLIO
The concept that significant, college-level learning can take
place outside of the traditional structure of higher education
is an important aspect of the philosophy and system of Hampton
University's Distance Learning Degree Program. Many adults involved
in various aspects of life have already acquired learning of a
measurable, college-level dimension. This learning deserves assessment
and recognition as part of a degree program.
Hampton University may grant credit for learning that is considered
college equivalent learning in academic subjects offered in this
program that can be demonstrated/verified in a portfolio.
