Hampton University offers an outstanding and innovative program to develop complex problem solving skills in Economics leading to a Bachelor of Science degree. Students learn to analyze, synthesize and evaluate challenging economic and social issues under a comprehensive curriculum. Students gain a strong theoretical background in Economics to facilitate marketable skills in analytical thinking, computing science, critical writing and applied research. These practical skills become the basis for personal success.

The Economic Program works as an integral part of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the School of Business. The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies is designed to develop and support students who will become business leaders and act as a catalyst for economics development in their communities. The Center helps facilitate the educational needs and new business opportunities for future entrepreneurs by exposure to successful commercial enterprises and business leaders in the global community.
