The Department of Modern Foreign Languages hosts two special programs:

• Hampton University Study Abroad Programs
  The Office of Study Abroad places students from various departments across campus in universities throughout the world. Students spend from 4 weeks to a semester taking courses taught in English or in a foreign language, depending on the discipline. Contact the Office for more Information.
  Scholarships are available to students who desire to study abroad. Contact the Director of Hampton University Study Abroad Programs.


• Hampton University International Programs
  The Office of international Programs assists foreign students in various capacities. Contact the Office for more information.

One special opportunity our students have is the use of facilities of Center for Information Technology in the Harvey Library Language Laboratory.
