Ms. Koerner is an Assistant Professor of Speech and Theatre. Her main areas of interest are acting, directing and playwriting. She received an M.F.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA with an emphasis in directing and dramaturgy. She received a B.A. from Hunter College in N.Y.C., New York with an emphasis in English and Film.

Ms. Koerner's other academic theatre studies include the BADA Program at Oxford, and the Circle in the Square Conservatory Program. Ms. Koerner has performed in theatres in New York, Chicago and Europe. Additionally, she has had two short plays produced, Blue Days and Segatori.
