Resident in the Department of Political Science and History, the
Pre-Law Program at Hampton University provides all Hampton University
students, regardless of major, with individualized advisement on
the law school application process. The Pre-Law advisor is available
to meet with students on a one-on-one basis or in groups. In addition,
the Department offers a number of courses designed to acquaint the
student with important skills that will prepare them for the study
of law. These courses include, but are not limited to, Constitutional
Law, Legal Theory, Introduction to Logic and Scientific Method,
and Legal Writing.
FRESHMAN YEAR
- Focus on establishing good study skills
- Focus on maintaing a good GPA
- Register for Council on Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO) College

SOPHOMORE YEAR
