The Hampton University School of Nursing has prepared nurses to serve humanity for over a century. Offering traditional baccalaureate, accelerated baccalaureate, baccalaureate completion, master's degrees in the roles of nurse practitioner, administrator, and educator, and a doctoral degree in family and family related nursing research, Hampton University School of Nursing has a program to meet almost every student's needs.

Campuses are located in Hampton and Virginia Beach, Virginia for traditional in-class programs. Distance education offerings are available in our baccalaureate completion, master's degree, and doctoral degree programs.

Degree & Certification Programs

The Hampton University School of Nursing offers degree programs in nursing on the undergraduate and graduate levels. Undergraduate programs include the B.S., LPN to B.S. and RN to BS programs. In addition, an accelerated BS program is offered through the College of Virginia Beach. Master of Science degree programs are offered for the roles of nursing education, administration, and nurse practitioner. Specialties for these roles include women's health, pediatrics, family health, community health nursing, advanced adult nursing, and community mental health/psychiatric nursing. The doctor of philosophy degree in nursing is offered with a focus on families and family related-research.
