Hampton University offers the Doctor of Philosophy degree in nursing. The University has authorization from the Council of Higher Education in Virginia to enroll students in doctoral level courses in the Ph.D. Program. Hampton University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and School’s Commission on Colleges to award doctoral degrees. The School of Nursing is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. The School has received preliminary approval from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
