• Two Nursing Majors Participate in FIPSE funded International Student Exchange

The AGE:NICE international partners will host two senior nursing students from the Hampton University School of Nursing: Ms. Candace Summer Watts (Albuquerque, New Mexico) and Rebeca Shantel Rodriquez (Yuma, Arizona). The nursing students will attend classes and clinical sites at the University of Padua, Italy, for four weeks (February 14 – March 17, 2006) to learn more about caring for aging populations. The students were selected based upon specific eligibility criteria, and both students have GPAs over 3.0.

• Dr. Dinah Saunders and Dr. Barbara Harrison have submitted their abstract and it was accepted at the Oxford Round Table.  Dr. Dinah Saunders is invited to participate in the Oxford Round Table devoted to Health and Nutrition to be held at Harris Manchester College in the University of Oxford, Oxford, England from April 2 through April 7, 2006.
