  • Faculty Development sites
This Faculty Development site is being designed to help faculty gain knowledge and confidence in using advanced research techniques as well as advancing their teaching and learning skills.

A number of areas need to be addressed as faculty move up in their career tracks. This site will give faculty a central location where they can find resources that will allow them to learn new research skills and pedagogical applications.

Hampton University offers a wide variety of seminars and workshops through the Center for Teaching Excellence, ITAP, and other technical venues.

This Institute for Faculty Development will be used to fill in areas such as research training, not covered by the other campus units. We will also use this space to showcase all ongoing faculty development activities on campus, as well as those off campus sites that offer a wide variety of workshops/courses both on line, and at their facilities.
