Department Mission

We are pleased to announce the creation of a Department of Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences at Hampton University. For a decade, the Center for Atmospheric Sciences has offered coursework and training leading to advanced degrees within the Department of Physics. The new department will serve the needs of a greater number of students by expanding the range of offerings in a flexible course of study that accommodates students with different academic backgrounds.
