Mr. Eric Wooden, Associate Research Professor

Mr. Wooden came to Hampton University in 1989 as an undergraduate student in Marine and Environmental Science. He went on to get his masters at William and Mary in Biological Oceanography. After graduating, worked at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science as a marine scientist until accepting a position at Hampton University in the fall of 2004. His specialty is water quality monitoring and fish ecology in intertidal environments. His goal while at Hampton University is to increase research capability of the department and develop student research opportunities to strengthen their education experience.
