George Ofori-Boadu Elected President of the International Association of Physics Students for the 2001-2002 term
George Ofori-Boadu was elected president of the International Association of Physics Students for the 2001-2002 term, becoming the first black to hold the position as well as the first undergraduate student to lead the organization with more than 300 members. He was also the only person of African descent on the board.
