From the grid iron to the board room, from Capitol Hill to the Grammy's, JET Corps recognizes those individuals who make a difference in the lives of youth today.  Come out and pay tribute to Hampton Roads' finest.

The Honorable Mayor Joe S. Frank, born in Newport News, VA on November 14, 1942, graduated from the University of Virginia where he obtained a B.A. of Science degree with Honors in 1964. Mayor Frank continued his education at the University of Virginia Law School and graduated with an LLB degree in 1967.  In May 1996, he became the first directly elected Mayor in the Newport News’ history. Joe Frank has continued his commitment to community service as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hampton Roads Partnership and served as a member of the Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport Task Force.
