Hampton University is genuinely concerned with the difficulty many students have in the transition from high school to college. In 1953, Hampton University established a remedy to this widespread situation, by initiating an educational program known as the Pre-College Summer Session for High School Graduates. This sincere commitment is still alive and well at Hampton University and is now known as the Hampton University Pre-College Program.
