Greetings Hamptonians,

Thanks for visiting the Detroit Chapter HU Alumni Chapter’s website. As a member of the National Hampton Alumni Association, Inc., and living in the Detroit, Southfield, and Ypsilanti, Michigan area, you are automatically a member of our Chapter and may participate in all Chapter activities. Please take advantage of all our Chapter has to offer. We sponsor a variety of activities throughout the year allowing members to engage in professional networking, socializing, and community service. More importantly, we sponsor the HU Concert Choir as a fundraiser to provide scholarships to deserving students enrolled at our beloved alma mater. Our meetings are usually held the fourth Sunday of each month, at 4:00 PM, excluding July and August which are our “vacation” months. The dates are subject to change if it conflicts with a holiday or other special event.
