Application Process
The Detroit Chapter awards 3-4 scholarships per year to Michigan students currently enrolled in Hampton University. Students who have high scholastic records and who have shown qualities of leadership can submit their names for consideration to the Committee. Final selection of the students receiving the scholarship awards is made by the Scholarship Committee. Funds to cover the scholarships are obtained from profits of Chapter activities and are paid directly to the student and University.

College Fairs
Our Chapter participates in Black College Fairs sponsored by local Churches, NAACP and other community groups upon request. Potential freshmen are encouraged to submit an application directly to the University and/or participate in the onsite admissions workshop.
