Benefits of Joining

There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization.

The primary benefit is knowing you are helping your Alma Mater, Hampton University, as it continues to expand into a major college for learning. Your efforts allow dollars to go into the endowed scholarship fund. It allows the administration to keep constructing new buildings such as the Scribbs-Howard Journalism Building, two brand new dormitories (male & female). Also your membership dollars brings in new major fields of studies.

Your membership allows you to receive meeting reminders in the mail, if you do not have internet access. You will receive your membership card upon paying your dues.

When visiting Hampton's campus, you can display your membership card which is the symbol of the rights and priviledges that was granted to you the day of your graduation.

As a member of our chapter, it gives you a voice that will be heard on the Regional and National level of the Hampton Alumni Association.

And not least of all, we get together at our monthly meetings and we have a great time planning future fundraisers and events which is great to be a part of.
