Yes,
our program is demanding and challenging. So admission is selective.
To enter our program, students must meet these requirements:
- Pass
our entrance exam.
It's given each semester. Students may take it three times for admission.
The exam covers language use, general knowledge, critical thinking
and writing.
- Have
30 hours academic credit, or sophomore standing.
Freshmen declare their intent to major in our program and prepare
to meet our admission requirements. They should keep in touch with
us, drop by our offices and get to know our faculty. Before being
admitted to the department, students may take only two courses:
MME 200 "Media in a Multicultural Society" and MME 202 "Precision
Language."
- Have
at least a "C" average.
