Making Connections

Calvin Henry, an advertising major from Mitchville, Md., shares the spotlight with Kenneth W. Lowe, president and CEO of the E.W. Scripps Co., at a reception for our students at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. As part of the Scripps Howard Foundation's annual Roundtable, about 40 students were guests of honor at the reception. It was an opportunity to network with prominent journalists and media executives.

Welcoming Guests
Among those joining us to celebrate our groundbreaking was Clyde Gray, anchor for WCPO-TV in Cincinnati and a member of both the Scripps Howard Foundation's board of directors and our Advisory Council.
