- Snare Drum: Demonstrate basic drum rudiment plus strokes and rolls
at all dynamics.
- Mallets:
- Perform major scales through four sharps and flats, also a
chromatic scale of at least two octaves.
- A two mallet solo piece or etude that demonstrates proficiency
on the instrument.
- Timpani: Demonstrate the ability to tune and roll at all dynamic
levels.
- Sight-Reading: Demonstrate the ability to read at sight music for
each instrument above.
