The laboratories and classrooms for the department are located in Martin Luther King Hall.  The department shares a computer laboratory of 20 Pentium PC's and 10 Macintosh microcomputers with the Departments of Sociology and Political Science and History.  There is also an electronic classroom with 10 Pentiums, a scanner, a CR ROM read/write drive, laser printer and larger development machine shared by these social science departments.  The department has a broad range of software developed by psychologists to convert computers into laboratory instruments to study all sorts of performance and personality variables, as well, as for computer-based-learning.  We have a Bio-Lab which is used to measure all types of human electrophysiological characteristics.  Most other types of psychology research are carried out in the field and require paper and pencil media for data collection.  In the Behavioral Sciences Research Center located in Phenix Hall, we have several research laboratories that include on-line scoring and data analysis of surveys and tests.
