Dr. Duncan is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a BA in Psychology. She earned her PhD in Biological Psychology at the University of Washington and pursued further study in Clinical Psychology at Old Dominion University. Although she has taught over 20 courses during her 28 years at HU, she currently teaches introductory psychology for majors, biological psychology, senior seminar, using computers in psychology, and mental health research. Her research interests include attitudes toward computers and how people react to being victims of crime. She has received funding from the National Institute of Mental Health for her research in adult crime victimization and provides students with research training as part of grant activities. She has one grown son, a husband who is a psychology professor, enjoys outdoor activities, working out, and yoga. |
