    The web site of Hispanic Magazine based in Austin, Texas. Includes selected articles on current news, events and issues of interest to the Hispanic community.

    Saludos Web.
    Saludos Web is a web site devoted exclusively to promoting Hispanic careers and education, supported by Saludos Hispanos magazine.

    Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute.
    The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute is a nonprofit and nonpartisan leadership development organization.

    The Educational Quarterly.
    EQ is a newsletter aimed at high school students, parents and educators. It contains college profiles, and other information related to the attainment of higher education for Hispanic students.

    The National Educational Clearinghouse.
    This clearinghouse provides Hispanic students with scholarship and financial aid information. One of its main functions is the free Personal Scholarship Search. Call 1-800-EXCEL DC for further information.

Language Minority

    The Journal of Educational Issues of Language Minority Students
    Refereed journal published three times yearly funded through a grant from the Office of Bilingual Educational and Minority Language Affairs.

    Bilingual ESL Network (BEN).
    BEN is a non-profit service dedicated to building a global community of Bilingual/ESL Educators.

    The National Clearinghouse for Bilingual Education.
    The National Clearinghouse for Bilingual Education (NCBE) is funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Bilingual Education and Minority Languages Affairs (OBEMLA) to collect, analyze, and disseminate information relating to the effective education of linguistically and culturally diverse learners in the U.S.

    Bilingual Research Center
    The Bilingual Research Center of the University of California, Santa Cruz, is committed to understanding basic developmental, social, and cognitive processes involved in bilingualism and second-language learning.

    Linguistic Minority Research Institute (LMRInet)
    The University of California Linguistic Minority Research Institute (UC LMRI), a multi-campus research unit, supports, stimulates and coordinates research, dissemination and professional development activities that promote the understanding and improvement of language minority students in the schools.

    US Department of Education, OBEMLA
    Established in 1974 by Congress, the Office of Bilingual Education and Minority Languages Affairs helps school districts meet their responsibility to provide equal education opportunity to limited English proficient children.
