Setting up your @hamptonu.edu Email Account on Blackberry Devices

  1. From the Blackberry home screen, click Blackberry Setup
  2. Click Personal Email Setup
  3. Click Email Accounts
  4. Click Add an Email Account
  5. Type firstname.lastname@hamptonu.edu
  6. Type your INFOTECH password
  7. Click Next
  8. Choose I will provide the settings to add this email account, if asked, and click Next
  9. Click Outlook Exchange as the Account Type and click Next
  10. Click I can access my email account using a web browser (Outlook Web Access)
  11. Click Next
  12. In the Outlook web access URL box, type webmail.hamptonu.edu
  13.  In the Email Account box type in firstname.lastname
  14. If your password isn't in the Password box, disguised as asterisks, type in your INFOTECH password
  15. If your email address isn't in the Email Address box, type in your email address (firstname.lastname@hamptonu.edu)
  16. In the Mailbox box, type in firstname.lastname and click Next
