Dr. Carolyn C. W. Hines is President and Co-owner of the Hines Consulting Group, LLC. The firm specializes in leadership development, transformational leadership training, executive and life coaching, skill building, career planning, organizational and professional development, management consulting and training, team building, strategic planning, communications and conflict management, customer service, work force diversity and alternate dispute resolution.

Dr. Hines is a licensed professional counselor, marriage and family therapist and certified relationship specialist. She has been certified as a mediator by the Virginia Supreme Court and as a mediator and an arbitrator the National Association of Securities Dealers. She also holds Diplomat Status in the American Psychotherapy Association. Further, she is certified as an Executive Coach by the National Center for Healthcare Leadership, the College of Executive Coaching, an International Coach Federation Certified Institute, Envisia 360 (Relationship Intelligence), and the Strength Deployment Institute.

A popular keynoter, Dr. Hines is an internationally ranked public speaker. She has an extensive background as a trainer and consultant in both the public and private sectors in Productivity Systems and Human Capital Planning. Her National Productivity Improvement Model contributed to her selection as a finalist as a White House Fellow. Additionally, she has developed and published several handbooks on Transformational Leadership, Executive Coaching, Career Development, Effective Communications, Team Building, Customer Service, Caring Competencies, Coaching and Counseling and Work Force Diversity.

Dr. Hines received her undergraduate education at Saint Paul's College in Lawrenceville, Virginia and Wellesley College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. She holds three graduate degrees, including a Doctorate in Counseling and Higher Education Administration from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She has completed post-graduate work in Research Analysis, Strategic Planning, Workforce Diversity, Training and Development, Personnel Management, Business Administration and Human Resources Development and Executive Coaching. She also received advance training from the Center for Creative Leadership.
