Dr. Carolyn C. W. Hines serves as the President of C. W. HINES and Associates, Inc., a multifaceted, international management training and consulting firm based in White Stone, VA. This award winning firm specializes in leadership development, executive coaching, life coaching, career planning, emotional intelligence, transformational leadership, organizational and professional development, teambuilding, strategic planning, communications and conflict management, customer service, work force diversity, alternate dispute resolution, religious retreats and youth development. Dr. Hines completed her undergraduate education at Saint Paul's College in Lawrenceville, Virginia and Wellesley College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. She received three graduate degrees including a Doctorate in Counseling and Higher Education Administration from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She completed advanced training through The Center for Creative Leadership. She also holds certification as a mediator and arbitrator by the Virginia Supreme Court and the National Association of Securities Dealers and Diplomat status in the American Psychotherapy Association. Dr. Hines is a licensed marriage and family therapists and the recipient of numerous local, state, national, and international awards. She serves on the Board of Directors of Fear2Freedom, a non-profit organization founded by Rosemary Trible to restore the lives of those affected by sexual assault.

Dr. and Mr. Hines are co-authors of the award winning book, What to Say and How to Say It-72 Courageous Conversations for the Workplace. The popular book was featured on Lifetime TV. They both received certification as executive /life coaches from the College of Executive Coaching and are National Alliance Black School Educators' Scholars in Residence. Active in the community, they are members of the Historical Macedonia Baptist Church in Heathsville, Virginia and the Board of Directors for MaCorp, a Northern Neck Community Development Corporation. She serves the Women's Ministry and youth programs and he is Vice Chairman of the Trustee Board. Dr. Hines and Mr. Hines have both received the prestigious National Conference for Community and Justice Humanitarian Award.
