Mr. William A. Hines, Jr. serves as the Executive Vice-President for C. W. HINES and Associates, Inc. Mr. Hines completed his undergraduate education at Hampton University, earning a bachelor's degree in business management. He received his master's degree in Human Resources Management and Organizational Development from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is also a graduate of the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce/Christopher Newport University Leadership Institute, the Martin Luther King Center for Non-Violent Conflict Resolution, the Armed Forces Staff College in Norfolk, Virginia and the Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Mr. Hines is a certified mediator and specialist in group work. Mr. Hines, a retired Lieutenant Colonel, is a decorated Vietnam Veteran. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Legion of Merit. His military career included several successful command assignments in Europe, Korea and Vietnam. His final Pentagon assignment was as Inspector General where he received commendations for conducting focus groups throughout the United States, Europe and Korea. Mr. Hines is quite active in social and civic organizations. Among others, he is the founding president of the award winning 100 Black Men of the Virginia Peninsula and a member of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Neck, Virginia.

Mr. and Dr. Hines are co-authors of the award winning book, What to Say and How to Say It-72 Courageous Conversations for the Workplace. The popular book was featured on Lifetime TV. They both received certification as executive /life coaches from the College of Executive Coaching and are National Alliance Black School Educators' Scholars in Residence. Active in the community, they are members of the Historical Macedonia Baptist Church in Heathsville, Virginia and the Board of Directors for MaCorp, a Northern Neck Community Development Corporation. He is Vice Chairman of the Trustee Board and she serves the Women's Ministry and youth programs. Mr. and Dr. Hines have both received the prestigious National Conference for Community and Justice Humanitarian Award.
