On Friday, April 5, 2013, the Hampton University Office of Admission invites you to experience Hampton University for a day!
Our High School Day event will give you a preview of what we have to offer academically and culturally by having representatives from various areas on-hand to answer your questions and provide you with information and materials to ease your admission and transition. Just a few of the areas that will be on hand are:
- Financial Aid (view the site)
- to discuss award packages and answer general financial aid questions
- Housing
- to answer questions about first year and upper-class student housing
- Academic faculty members and deans
- will be available in each school and department to answer questions.
Prospective students are encouraged to visit their anticipated major, as well as any other areas of interest. They can also speak with current students and take a tour of the campus. - University student organizations
- will provide creative presentations and performances in the afternoon session.
Attendees will be entertained by the award-winning Hampton University Marching Band with Ebony Fire, the Terpsichorean Dancers, the Hampton University Jazz Band, and the nationally acclaimed Hampton University Choir.
How to Register
Registration has been designed to provide you with a packet filled with important materials such as the schedule for the day, a map of the campus, departmental phone numbers and locations. You may pre-register online (recommended). You will also be able to submit your contact information on-site the day of High School Day. Registration will be held in the Hampton University Convocation Center and will begin at 7AM on April 5, 2013.
