High School Day registration has ended. There will be no on-site registration. If you would like to be on our mailing list, there will be a station on site where you may provide us your contact information. Please pay close attention to the following information:

  • Doors will open for check in at the Convocation Center on Emancipation Drive at 7:00AM. Please arrive at the time indicated. Those arriving early will not gain access to the Convocation Center until 7:00 AM. Excuse letters can be picked up at the information desk between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. only.

  • Opening Session will begin at 9:00 a.m. The day will include a Welcome Session, a Campus Tour (314 acres; dress comfortably), an Academic and Student Activities Fair with an entertaining afternoon program. Please schedule to be with us until at least 4:00 p.m. so you may enjoy all events fully.

  • Lunch will be available to purchase at the Student Center and in the surrounding area throughout the entire day.

  • Hampton University does have a dress code; "do-rags", caps and hats will not be permitted. Ladies and Gentlemen may wear jeans and other comfortable attire; however, we ask that you are presentable.

  • There will a Guidance Counselor’s Suite available to counselors to obtain additional University information and share in a special experience.

VIP Students are those who have been accepted to the University and who have committed by paying the $600 deposit prior to March 21, 2008. VIP Students will receive special access and seating to all events for the entire weekend*. If you did not meet this deadline you will not be considered for the VIP program.
