The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct service to students. 

Duties and Responsibilities
The Early Childhood Education Teacher is responsible for preparing, implementing and evaluating students' work. Attendance and participation in professional workshops and University faculty lead teaching lab experiences are required. Working and conferencing with parents, maintaining student records that conform to State requirements and an ability to be flexible and team-spirited are also necessary requirements.

Requirements
This job requires a  Bachelor's or Master's degree in either Early Childhood Education or Teaching, and the successful candidate must either possess or be eligible to obtain a Virginia teaching license.

Qualifications
The successful candidate must

• Must possess knowledge of current theory and methods in teaching.
  
• Have the ability to implement new approaches to teaching and learning and be willing to share that with undergraduate students.
  
• Be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  
• Possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the public.
