Description

The AV Technician's role is to support and maintain in-house audio-visual equipment and non-print media assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate is responsible for but not limited to the actual setup, operating, maintaining, distributing, installing, configuring, repairing, and upgrading various electronic products while ensuring their optimal performance.

The Audio-Visual Technician will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training and assistance where required. 

The Audio-Visual Technician is also responsible for

  • The maintenance and repair of various audiovisual/audio equipment;
  • Following preventive maintenance procedures;
  • Ordering and Maintaining inventory of repair parts;
  • Assisting faculty and staff in the usage of equipment;
  • The delivery, installation, and operation of various equipment;
  • Assisting in scheduling and tracking the location of equipment;
  • Recording, editing, and duplication of audiovisual/video programming upon request.
