Description
This position loads specific data elements from admissions applications into Computer Center's mainframe on a daily basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
The applicant will:
- Post admission decisions and prepare decision packages (coordinated instructions and information from campus staff offices, i.e., Business Office, Dean of Students, etc.) on a daily basis;
- Process incoming mail as required, normally under reduced personnel conditions.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Formal training in data entry;
- General knowledge of computers, software, and some programming skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills: ability to communicate orally to a wide diverse population;
- Flexibility, exceptional work ethics;
- Team player abilities;
- Experience in a college or university admissions office highly desired.
