

Description
Hampton University is seeking a secretary to provide secretarial and clerical support to a university administrator or office. This position usually serves as a confidential secretary to a senior administrator, department head and/or leader of the support staff team.
Duties and Responsibilities
It requires technical typing as well as thorough knowledge of sound office procedures and basic office management principles. In some cases may be required to prepare presentations, maintain calendar of one or more high level employees in the department, and arrange travel. The successful candidate may schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences.
