The Admission Counselor is responsible for attracting and recruiting new students to the University by making presentations on the strengths and attributes of the University.
Duties and Responsibilities
Meet with prospective students and parents and communicate the strengths of the University in an effort to attract the best and brightest. Review applications and make recommendations for admission to the Director of Admission based upon submitted credentials in relationship to the mission and goals of the University. Provide administrative support for all campus visitation programs to include Open Houses, daily tours, and special weekend visitation programs. Assist in all efforts pertinent to the successful operation of the Admission Office.
Bachelor’s degree. Experience working in a college/university Admission Office is highly desired. Demonstrated organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills; oral and written, and demonstrative ability to effectively use technology as it relates to social media.
