The Department of Computer Science at Hampton University invites applications for the full-time position of Instructor for the Computer Literacy Program. This is a 9 month position for the 2013-2014 academic year. The Computer Literacy Program ensures that every Hampton University graduate possesses standard competencies in technology. We need dedicated individuals with high proficiency in computer science to help us meet this goal.

The successful candidate must have teaching experience. The applicant is expected to contribute to the Department and the University through research/scholarly productivity, and service. It is a requirement that the candidate hold office hours during regular business hours.
The successful candidate must hold an earned master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, and possess demonstrated excellence in teaching and outcome assessment. Also, he/she must have a high level of expertise in the application of Microsoft Office 2010 to include Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
