Description

The receptionist is to receive all customers, students, faculty, staff members, and answer telephone calls while providing excellent customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

The receptionist is responsible for maintaining and managing the phone system; greeting and assisting the students, staff, instructors, public and vendors in a professional manner while manning the front desk. In addition, the receptionist will also assist with receiving and issuing of various forms to be processed; date stamped in before routing to appropriate staff; and replenish all forms ensuring we are well stocked. The receptionist receives and processes incoming campus mail. They mail vendor payments and do reconciliation of federal express bill for payment. The receptionist performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, communication, and customer services skills. The applicant must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office and other database applications. The successful candidate must be punctual, a self starter, and able to work well independently and with others. The candidate must be professional at all times with excellent time management and organizational skills.
