A cohesive research agenda will be expected, along with a full understanding of the curriculum.  The successful candidate has the ability to reach the hearts and minds of the students through successful teaching methods.

A transcript of the terminal degree (doctorate) is required.  The successful candidate is expected to hold a Ph.D. in Biochemistry.  The candidate must also have a distinguished scholarly record demonstrated by documented evidence of accomplishments in teaching, research, and service.  Other desirable qualifications include a history of external funding, and a publication record.  Salary is commensurate with rank and experience.
