Responsible for the administrative, planning, and organizational duties involved in maintaining the Office of Religious Affairs. Assume the duties of clerical and administrative support to the University Chaplain in order to optimize workflow procedures in the office. Able to work with and across departments and schools campus-wide and the wider community at-large.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide administrative support and performs numerousduties, including scheduling, writing correspondence, emailing, handling visitors, routing callers, and answering questions and requests, making appointments and scheduling meetings, handling filing systems, and organizing mail.


Strong secretarial and office management skills, proficient written and verbal communications, pleasant and friendly personality, other interpersonal skills such as patience, tact and the ability to maintain composure are also valuable, Microsoft Office® proficient, excellent organization and management skills, able to work within and meet deadlines.


High School Diploma with at least three years of experience in secretarial and/or administrative assistant employment.
