Where will the new Student Dining Facility and Activity Hall be located?
Three locations are being considered. They are in the vicinity of the Marine Science Building, Queen Street Dorm, or where Davidson Hall and Mooring are currently located.
How much will it cost to build?
The cost to build the facility is approximately $25 million.
What will happen to the existing cafeterias once the new dining facility has been completed?
The space will be renovated to create residential suites for female Freshman students.
Can alumni eat in the facility?
Yes, alumni are always welcome to dine with students, faculty and staff.
When will construction begin?
Construction will begin when Hamptonians and friends of the University match the challenge grant of $5 million.
Is my donation tax deductible?
