Honors College Induction and Honors Day

Hampton, VA - Honors College will hold the 14th Annual Honors College Induction Ceremony on March 20 at 7p.m. in McGrew Towers.

To continue the Honors weekend, on Saturday, March 21 at 1:30 p.m. the college will host Honors Day in Ogden Hall. This years theme will be “Honors @ Hampton University: Prepared for Change.”

This year’s ceremony will include an address from keynote speaker, Jodie Jiles, managing director of RBC Capital Markets in Houston, Texas. Jiles, an advocate for service, has spent years focusing on serving others in the areas of healthcare, business, and public and higher education.

Throughout the event, students in the program will be honored with departmental and honor society awards. HU President Dr. William R. Harvey will present the Presidents Award, an award presented annually to an outstanding student.
