HU Music Department Presents Annual Week of Jazz

Hampton, VA - The Hampton University Department of Music will present its Annual Week of Jazz from April 7-11. The musical events will feature collegiate and professional jazz greats. The performances will be held in HU's historic concert facility, Ogden Hall, at 8 p.m. nightly. A $5 donation, that will help fund future events, is the nightly charge. The events of the week are as follows:

• Monday, April 7 - HU Jazz Ensemble
• Tuesday, April 8 - The Just Us Big Band with Frank Foster
• Wednesday, April 9 - Wham Bam Big Band from The College of William & Mary
• Thursday, April 10 - The Connie Parker Trio
• Friday, April 11 - HU Vocal Jazz Ensemble
