HU Announces Commencement Ticket Details

Hampton, VA - The Hampton University 140th Annual Commencement will be held on May 9 at 10 a.m. in Armstrong Stadium. All graduates and guests, including children over the age two, must have a ticket to enter Armstrong Stadium. All HU graduating students participating in Commencement will be issued 8 tickets for the ceremony in Armstrong Stadium, one for the graduate and seven for guests. Graduating student tickets will be distributed on May 7 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the HU Convocation Center. Students must present their HU student ID card to pick up tickets.

There will be 1,000 tickets available for the general public. Public tickets will only be available for the Armstrong Stadium site. No public tickets are available for the rain site. Members of the public can apply for a maximum of two (2) tickets on-line at commencement.hamptonu.edu beginning April 19 at 8 a.m. Once 1,000 tickets have been reserved the site will be shut down.
