Statement on HU Public Commencement Tickets

Hampton, VA - Public tickets for the 2010 Hampton University Commencement were available online on April 19 at 8 a.m. EST. There were 1,000 tickets available on a first-come first serve basis at commencement.hamptonu.edu. The tickets were all reserved by 8:10 a.m. EST. If a person received notification that they were put on a waiting list, they will be notified by April 23 whether or not they will receive tickets. The public tickets will be distributed on May 8 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hampton University Convocation Center.

Hampton University is appreciative of all the support and excitement the community has shown as we prepare for this year's Commencement. The Commencement will be streamed live at www.hamptonu.edu and you can follow the day's events at twitter.com/_HamptonU.
