HU TO HOST GRANT WRITING WORKSHOP

Hampton, VA - Hampton University will host "The Grant Development Training Workshop" on Aug. 24-26 at 8 a.m. in the Student Center Cyber Lounge.

The Hampton University Society for Business Professionals, Integral Executive & Consulting Firm, Inc. and Purpose By Design Consulting will present the 3-day workshop.

Training is designed to provide a step-by-step approach in developing grant proposals essential for grant writers, fundraisers, volunteers, non-profit staff and consultants.

Some of the learning objectives include grant development, federal, state, corporate and foundations grants, budgeting, grant resources, development of grant teams/analysts.

Vanessa S. O’Neal, the president & CEO of Integral Executive & Consulting Firm, Inc. and the founder of the National Society of Grant Writing Professionals, Inc. will be the facilitator of the workshop. O’Neal is also the author of “Grant Me The Money!”.

The cost, including materials is $225 for regular registration before Aug. 10. Thereafter, the cost will be $240.00, and $210 per person for a group of 3 or more.
