HU Hosts Open House Events
Hampton, VA - Hampton University will host two open house events in November for prospective students. The Hampton University College of Education and Continuing Studies will have its Adult Education Open Houses on Nov. 15 and the HU Office of Admission will host its annual Fall Open House on Nov. 22.
College of Education and Continuing Studies Open House
Prospective students are invited to learn more about HU’s adult education programs at the College of Education and Continuing Studies Open House in the Hampton Harbor Shopping Center, 1006 Settlers Landing Road, Suite H from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 15.
University representatives will discuss HU’s accelerated evening college and online programs. Advisors will be available for questions about how HU can help advance career and earning prospects. They will help prospective students identify their goals and develop a plan for success.
Prospective students will be able to apply for admission, meet with financial aid advisors and register for spring enrollment.
The school currently offers associate degree and certificate programs in air traffic-control, business management, teacher education, general studies, hotel restaurant management, human resource management, paralegal studies, public safety administration, religious studies, systems organization and management.

Undergraduate Admissions Open House
All prospective undergraduate students are invited to attend the Office of Admission Fall Open House on Nov. 22 in the HU Student Center. The event will begin at 8 a.m. with registration and continue through 1 p.m. Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff and students and experience what Hampton University has to offer.
The Open House will consist of a welcome session, academic/student services fair, panel discussion, a campus tour and admission decision presentation.
Students who submitted a completed application to HU by Nov. 1, 2008 will receive their decision on-site.
