HU Museum Presents Holiday and Kwanzaa Marketplace

Hampton, VA - The Hampton University Museum will present the 13th Annual Holiday and Kwanzaa Marketplace on Dec. 5 from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. Holiday and Kwanzaa gift items will be on sale in the Museum Gift Shop.

Music will be provided by the Crusader's Male Chorus from 5:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. The Crusader's were organized in 1939 by the late Charles H. Flax and is currently directed by Joan Wickham.

At 6 p.m. in the Museum Education Room guests may bring their holiday traditions/collections to share. Bring in your favorite angel, ornament or collectible to share the origin, date of the piece and how you collected it.

Admission to the event is free. Guests are encouraged to bring food items that will be donated to the Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula.

Hampton and Newport News Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and The Greater Williamsburg Women’s Association will serve as our hostesses for the evening. For additional information contact Vanessa Thaxton-Ward at 757.727.5508.
