HU TO HOST HONOR BAND CONCERT

Hampton, VA - The Hampton University Bands will hold its Second Annual High School Honor Band concert Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. in Ogden Hall on campus.

This event is free and open to the public.

The Honor Band is consisted of some of the top high school performers on the East Coast and will be conducted by nationally renowned conductor John M. Long.

Long is the dean of the School of Fine Arts at Troy State University, the Director of Bands and the Distinguished Professor of Music Emeritus. He is the past president of the American Bandmasters Association and was inducted into the National Band Association's Hall of Fame of Distinguished Band Conductors.
