Five-year MBA Students Selected by KPMG for Leadership Program
When it comes to accounting, Hampton students continue to lead. Brittany Henry, Edwin Jones and Jason Moore were chosen by KPMG, an audit, tax and advisory firm, for their Future Diversity Leaders (FDL) Program. The program is a part of KPMG’s focus to encourage diversity in accounting.
The sophomore 5-year MBA majors were selected along with 47 other
students to join the FDL program. Students came from a number of different
colleges and universities across the country. HU’s three students
represented the largest amount of students chosen from one university.

HBCU Graduate Earnings Study Released
“If you want a great job out of college, go to a predominately
white institution.” Contrary to this common misconception, the
statistics suggest something totally different. A recent study
done by researchers at Virginia Tech found that African-American men
who earn degrees from historically black colleges and universities
(HBCU) go on to receive higher lifetime earnings than those who attend
predominately white institutions (PWI).
