  Hampton University mourns the loss of one of its own, Rosa Parks, who was known as an influential figure in America's civil rights movement. Parks passed away on Monday, Oct. 24, at the age of 92. 8/1/05 - HU SCHOOL OF NURSING RECEIVES 100% PASSING RATE ON LICENSURE EXAM
  Hampton, Va. - HU School of Nursing had 100 percent passing rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX). According to Dr. Constance Hendricks, dean of HU School of Nursing, the school has had more than a 50 percent increase in their students’ passing rate since the first quarter of 2004.
